What we aim for

We build against WCAG 2.2 Level AA. That is a target we work towards continuously rather than a certificate we hold.

What we do

• Every product image carries descriptive alternative text.
• The whole site is operable by keyboard, with a visible focus ring on every interactive element.
• Body text meets a 4.5:1 contrast ratio against its background, and large text meets 3:1.
• Text can be zoomed to 200% without loss of content or function, and pinch-zoom is never disabled.
• Motion — including the page's smooth scrolling — is switched off entirely when your system asks for reduced motion.
• Form fields have real labels, and errors are announced, not just coloured.

Where we fall short

Checkout is hosted by our e-commerce provider, and we do not control its markup. Some older product photography has less descriptive alt text than we would write today, and we are working through it.
